ANDREW'S MELT DOWN

Andrew Schoultz’ Melt Down is the most recent exhibit living at Project Space – the brilliant collaboration between Incase and Arkitip. The large scale show captures the core elements of Schoultz’ work. Color lovers will instantly connect as his expressions move from framed art to murals to various other forms and sculptures. We think they say it best when they write, “For Schoultz, art is an uncontrollable passion and obsession. Over the last decade, he’s compiled a repository of iconic images that he uses to tell stories about everyday life in America. In his murals, paintings, installations and drawings, Schoultz filters political commentary through the forms of graffiti art and underground comics, fused with clipart from the early 1990s and medieval renderings that chart history of man and nature.” Don’t miss this one if you’re in the LA area. It’s on display until January 9, 2011. Click Read More for additional photos by Brandon Shigeta.
Location: 603 North La Brea Avenue, Los Angeles CA 90036
