Travel Inspiration: Montreal is for Surfers

Montreal is among our favorite cities. Recently, one of our editorial contributors, Anthony Smyrski, visited and put together a brief video highlighting his northern experience. It’s a compelling piece that’ll make you want to book a weekend trip. But if the video wasn’t enough. The New York Times recently published an article highlighting the city’s unique St. Lawrence River that allows water enthusiasts the opportunity to do some surfing.

As reported by the NY Times: “To the uninitiated, the scene on a recent morning along the St. Lawrence River in Montreal might have inspired confusion. Behind the striking modular apartment complex known as Habitat 67, a crowd of surfers slipped into wet suits and waxed up their boards, 500 miles from the nearest ocean beach.” Click Read More for additional information.
