THE HERGE MUSEUM

As a kid I spent many summers reading Tintin comic-books. My cousin would bring them from the islands and we’d get lost in the stories for hours. I hadn’t thought about Tintin for some time. I guess as I got older Asterix and Johnny Quest moved in and filled the void. But I was pleasantly surprised to hear about the Hergé Museum – a complete dedication to the works of Georges Remi the creator of Tintin. As I viewed the pics of the museums, all those summertime memories came flooding back.

The Hergé Museum, is located in Louvain-la-Neuve near Brussels, Belgium. It was designed by Christian de Portzamparc architects and boasts a modern ode to the vibrant works of Georges Remi. Click Read More for additional information and photos of the awe-inspiring museum.
