The Za Koenji Public Theatre stylishly stands out against Tokyo’s straight-lined urban fare. Located in the center of Suginami and dedicated to the performing arts, the building is home to the Creative Theatre Network – non-profit organization led by Ren Saito. Its purpose is to produce, present and support a range of cultural activities for the local community with the hopes of enabling people of all ages to see and take part in many art forms – from drama and dance to music and storytelling.
