We recently came across this thoughtful short by Lorenzo Fonda. It was shot in December 2008 while he ventured from Los Angeles to Shanghai on the Portland Senator, a marine vessel. While his camera beautifully captures the quiet mystique of the ocean, he recounts the things he’s learned.
