Travel Inspiration: 10 Things I Have Learned About the Sea

We recently came across this thoughtful short by Lorenzo Fonda. It was shot in December 2008 while he ventured from Los Angeles to Shanghai on the Portland Senator, a marine vessel. While his camera beautifully captures the quiet mystique of the ocean, he recounts the things he’s learned. Things like, “The sea will lure you into oblivion,” or “The sea is both heaven and hell, and the living soul can only guess what awaits beneath.” Watch the video here.
