Bike culture continues its march forward in the US. Washington DC’s Union Station recently opened a Bike Transit Center that houses a repair shop, bike rentals, and a secure bike parking system for commuters. As Flavorwire reports, “The facility will be the first of its kind on the East Coast, part of an effort to encourage eco-friendly commuting with the promise of added security for bicycles.
