GOOD IDEAS: Depending on your city, there’s always one day where all the trash is piled up on the sidewalks waiting to be picked up. It’s crowded, usually raining and there’s traffic for miles. Let’s just say it’s not the best moment aesthetically for any city – muchless a crowded one. But, there’s hope.

anycoloryoulike is working to rebrand trash. Their installations and city projects create a new perspective for a city’s disposal process. As they describe it, “anycoloryoulike is a vivid art intervention for urban beautification and environmental awareness. The project consists of select city blocks in which new artist-created biodegradable bags transform standard piles of trash into vivid sculptures of color through the participation of local business owners and residents.
