PLACES: Bridge construction gets us everytime. Even though architects and engineers have a mastery of the artform, there’s something mind-bending about the construction of a bridge. Especially when you consider one the size of the upcoming Hoover Dam Bypass Project.

The construction of Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge started in late January of 2005 and is scheduled for completion in 2010. Spanning nearly 2,000 feet across the Black Canyon it connects the Arizona and Nevada Approach highways. Click Read More for additional photos and information.
