LIU BOLIN'S INVISIBLE MAN

liu bolin

We always envisioned the process to become invisible being deeply technological. But Liu Bolin proves us wrong. Instead of it being about video cameras, mirror reflections and nano chips, it’s actually about patience and skilled artistry. Camouflage, a series by Mr. Bolin who is just 35 years old, paints people into their background making them utterly invisible.

As reported by Oddity Central: “The talented Liu Bolin says his art is a protest against the actions of the Government, who shut down his art studio in 2005 and persecutes artists. It’s about not fitting into modern society. Despite problems with Chinese authorities, Liu’s works are appreciated at an international level.” Click Read More for additional information and photos.
