Last week we visited Toronto for a world wind tour of the city. There were many places to see, shop, eat and stay, but one place that stuck out for us was Magic Pony – a concept shop and art gallery. Located on Queens Street in West Toronto, the store fits in well among its fellow boutiques and restaurants.

Some may ask, “What’s a Concept Shop?” Magic Pony defines themselves as a hybrid of sorts – part art gallery, studio and retail space dedicated to expanding the traditional notions of fine art and design by presenting work that blurs the boundaries between art, commerce and creative living. They look for products with a sense of humor, innate style and creativity that hasn’t been cornered. We recommend visiting the store next time you’re in Toronto.
