Local Events: Play Pong with the Locals in NYC

grand opening pong

We spotted Grand Opening a little more than a year ago and have been following it ever since. They’re a store, an event space and an ever-changing installation of fun activities. After the success of PONG 1.0 – a three month initiative that provided locals the opportunity to engage in a full on table tennis experience – they return with PONG 2.0.

This time around PONG 2.0 is sponsored by Puma. “Now with online booking, 35% more spectator seating, 12,500 BTUs of AC, and a beverage bar, PONG 2.0 offers New York athletes and visitors another opportunity to fulfill their table tennis craving.” Play a spot of Ping Pong with the locals and get a sense of NYC. Note – bring your A game because there’s an online camera recording the action for all the internet to see.
