Travel Innovations: Virgin Galactic Unveils White Knight Two

Today Virgin Galactic and Scaled Composites unveiled White Knight Two – a carrier plane that will lift SpaceShip One into suborbital flight, allowing 6 lucky passengers to touch the edge of space. Fielding questions from the press, Sir Richard Branson and Burt Rutan proudly described their work developing White Knight Two. The unveiling was met with serious media attention and proved to bring travelers that much closer to space travel.
Back in January we reported on Virgin Galactic and their announcement that 2008 would be the year of the spaceship. Branson and Rutan are indeed living up to their promise.
