Travel Innovations: Gabriele Pezzini & the Hermes Eurocopter
July 16, 2008 | 10:00AM

A few years ago, Italian designer Gabriele Pezzini was approached by french fashion house, Hermès, and aerospace group, Eurocopter, to design a high-end helicopter. With careful attention to detail, they worked tirelessly to design a helicopter focused on the business traveler.
The final product entitled, L’helicoptre par Hermès, hit the mark. The aesthetic detailing is simple and timeless. As Yatzer states, “Beyond surface changes, [Gabriele] set out to create small and smart innovations that improved the overall experience for the passengers and streamlines the helicopter’s production.” Slated for delivery later this year, each Copter will go for approximately 5.6 million Euros.
