Places to Shop: Colette Jumps the Pond while Renovating

Paris’ famed style boutique Colette will take a break this summer while it undergoes renovation. Masamichi Katayama of Wonderwall is lending his creative direction to give the store a new look. Known for his work with Uniqlo and Bape, many are excited to see his latest work with Colette. Get there before it goes on hiatus – the store is slated for renovation from July 7 until August 25.
Also, while Parisians and visitors will undoubtably miss Colette’s clever retail curation, New Yorkers rejoice because a pop-up store is crossing the pond and coming to NYC September 6. Just in time for fashion week, Colette partnered with the Gap to bring its retail experience stateside. The pop up store will be open until October 5.
