Travel Innovations: BMW's GINA Says Metal is a Thing of the Past

BMW’s latest research vehicle is a work of art and innovation. Entitled GINA, the car made of cloth challenges conventional approaches to auto-design. Yet it still makes you wonder, why didn’t I think of that?

Creative Director, Charles Bangle says the concept for GINA originated from a single question: How would a non-car designer design a car? Forget the metal. Forget tradition.
